Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song

With this tab, strum up twice on each chords. Except perhaps the occasional need to strum four times. Strumming down works. Or sometimes strumming to imitate the whistling works. I didn't want to go through and memorize it at the moment because I didn't want to spend to much time feeling it out.

But the chorus is B F# E repeated three times and then B D#m E. The song appears to be in the key of B major. B C# D# E F# G# A#. The tab writes Ebm instead of D#m.

Played 20100101: This was an easy enough song, that before looking at the tab, I knew the first chord is G, and that the key was in G, and that the other two chords would be D and C, and was pretty sure on the G D C D progression. But not entirely. Though I knew it didn't sound like Brown-Eyed Girl, so it wasn't a G C G D progression. And the music was lively enough to not contain an Am or Em. 20160630: Learning to play this song was interesting because I was practicing a lot and yet I was unable to play it by myself without the original song playing in the background. Eventually, however, it all just clicked. I started playing at a continuous rhythm and I sang at the proper pace. There were still a couple of hiccups along the way, but I was amazed at how smooth I managed to both play and sing the song. There were also some realizations made when it came to simplifying the guitar part, because I couldn't handle the complicated strumming while also singing. Another part was knowing the chord progression and not forcing it to go over specific words. Said differently, I succeeded when playing and singing to a lyrics-only page (as opposed to a lyrics-and-chords page).
